Dr. Keidar to receive the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics 2017 Engineer of the Year Award

Dr. Michael Keidar has been selected to receive the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) 2017 Engineer of the Year Award. The award is presented to a member of AIAA who has made a recent individual contribution in the application of scientific and mathematical principles leading to a significant accomplishment or event worthy of AIAA’s national or international recognition.  Dr. Keidar’s citation reads, “For significant contributions to fundamentals and applications of electric propulsion, particularly micro-propulsion for small satellites.”  The award will be presented in July.
