The Washington Academy of Sciences has selected Dr. Michael Plesniak as the winner of the 2018 Distinguished Career in Engineering Award. He will receive the award on May 11 at the academy’s annual banquet. His citation will read: “For seminal contributions to research and education in fluid dynamics, specifically turbulent flow physics and biomedical fluid dynamics.”
