Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at GW

MAE Undergraduate Prospective Students

In the Classroom

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) offers an ABET-accredited bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, and students who wish to do so may also pursue options in aerospace engineering, patent law, biomechanical engineering, or medical preparation. Our small department size allows students to get personal attention from the faculty and their advisors, and even opens the door to undergraduate research opportunities.

. . . and Beyond

Students in the MAE Department have access to the resources and opportunities of the department, the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), and the university. We encourage our students to make the most of their college life by taking advantage of these opportunities. More information is available at the links below.
